2:9 When they had crossed over, Elijah said to Elisha, “What can I do for you, ¹  before I am taken away from you?” Elisha answered, “May I receive a double portion of the prophetic spirit that energizes you.” ²

7:8 When the men with a skin disease reached the edge of the camp, they entered a tent and had a meal. ⁹  They also took some silver, gold, and clothes and went and hid it all. ¹⁰  Then they went back and entered another tent. They looted it ¹¹  and went and hid what they had taken. 7:9 Then they said to one another, “It’s not right what we’re doing! This is a day to celebrate, but we haven’t told anyone. ¹²  If we wait until dawn, ¹³  we’ll be punished. ¹⁴  So come on, let’s go and inform the royal palace.”

13:23 But the Lord had mercy on them and felt pity for them. ¹⁸  He extended his favor to them ¹⁹  because of the promise he had made ²⁰  to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He has been unwilling to destroy them or remove them from his presence to this very day. ²¹

21:8 I will not make Israel again leave the land I gave to their ancestors, ²²  provided that they carefully obey all I commanded them, the whole law my servant Moses ordered them to obey.”

21:16 Furthermore Manasseh killed so many innocent people, he stained Jerusalem with their blood from end to end, ²³  in addition to encouraging Judah to sin by doing evil in the sight of the Lord. ²⁴
